Since then they have been collecting information in order to build an action plan to hinder the advance of climate change and mitigate the negative impacts.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk\/our-plan\">View here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Bridport Town Council<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bridport Town Council also declared a Climate and Environmental emergency  and sketched out their action plan. Our next signing will be in Bridport (Buckydoo) on Sat November 18th. The full letter can be read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westdorsetfriendsoftheearth.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Scotts-2nd-rebuttal.docx\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>National FoE campaigns<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends of the Earth is campaigning nationally on United for Warm homes.  The goal is combat the current volatility of energy pricing and bring our current homes up to a standard where people can live in comfort. Here are the 3 goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unitedforwarmhomes.uk\/campaign-issue-guides\/our-asks-urgent-support-sky-high-energy-bills\">Urgent support for&nbsp;people dealing&nbsp;with sky-high energy bills<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unitedforwarmhomes.uk\/node\/280\">A new&nbsp;emergency programme to insulate our heat-leaking homes<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unitedforwarmhomes.uk\/campaign-issue-guides\/our-asks-energy-system-powered-renewables\">An energy system powered by cheap, green renewables.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>WD FoE will also be gathering signatures supporting this campaign which will be sent to both councils.
