This year’s Green Week will begin on the bridges of Bridport. West Dorset Friends of the Earth will be s§itting on toilets parked on those bridges discussing the need for an Environmental Rights Act: that we should have rights to clean water (to drink and to swim in), clean air and a right to demand it.

Bridport’s Food Festival on Asker’s meadow: begins at 9:30 and wraps up at 5. Buy you ticket in advance and save a potentially lengthy wait at the gate.
Saturday & Sunday: June 15th & 16th
Wilding Weekend at Julia Hailes rewilded garden in Hooke, Nr. Beaminster. 10:30-4:30 both days. Stalls, plants for sale, talks from experts, and food. Giant Puppets on Sunday only. Details below:
